Good morning, I am emailing to voice my opposition to adopting the LGBTQ flag as an official city flag. I beg you to vote no. The flag in question does not represent all people that live in Gallatin county, but rather it isolates and causes division. All people deserve respect and equal rights, however flying a flag that only caters to one group and offends others will only cause further division. We are all living in one city, one state, and one country. Our flags on government buildings and schools, which are funded by tax payers, should reflect the whole community. This is common sense. It’s concerning that while our county is dealing with dangerous roads, ( I witnessed a biker almost killed yesterday morning when someone drove through an unrestricted left) homelessness, and high property taxes, amongst many other issues that so much time is being spent on a flag. Fly the city and state and country flag. That’s it . Please vote NO. Thank you, Michelle Cevasco
