While the pride flag may represent inclusion and diversity for some, a city flag should uniquely embodyBozeman’s distinct history, culture, and natural heritage. The Pride flag, as a symbol of a specific social movement, risks alienating residents with differing views and may not fullycapture the broader identity of our community. A city flag should unite all citizens under a shared, place-specific emblem that reflects Bozeman’s mountains and rivers, history, andcollective spirit. Thank you for considering this perspective. Sincerely, John Campbell
