To Our City Decision Makers,
Please do not vote yes to adopt the Pride Flag as an official flag of Bozeman. The United
States Flag is meant to represent all Americans, majorities and minorities, and that’s
what it does by its inherent nature, of which hangs proudly in our community already.
The Bozeman city flag also already sets us apart from other communities in Montana
and I urge you to allow that to be the only flag that represents ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES
OF PEOPLE in Bozeman.
If you do choose yes on this act, please know that there should then also be a
heterosexual flag adopted as well, so heterosexuals in our community feel safe and
included.
Thank you for keeping all Bozemanites in mind during this pivotal decision.
