Madam/Sir:
I'm told that the city council is considering the adoption or flying of the so-calledPride flag. I am vehemently opposed to this truly divisive and ridiculous idea. I
even have gay friends who think it's inappropriate. Are we now going to start
flying heterosexual symbols or bowing to the pressure of other interest groups or
crazy individuals who want their causes or identities publicly lauded or celebrated? How about a Prolife flag? Does the city council not have more important issues toaddress?
