I just wanted to double check so I don’t get people harassing me or my family. Please send my comment in. Thank you for clarification! > On Jul 11, 2025, at 3:32 PM, Bozeman Public Comment <comments@bozeman.net> wrote: > > Hi Bailey, > > No. Your name will not be announced. I just know that a lot of people will disagree with me, especially considering I am part of the community. I would still like for my comment to be heard. Will my name be announced at the meeting? This is my first time ever doing input into something concerning my hometown so I am unsure on how it all works but want my voice to be heard, especially having such an opposite viewpoint of what is being discussed. As someone that is part of the LGBT(Q+) community myself, this idea is absolutelyRIDICULOUS. There is absolutely zero reason for this to happen. I have driven in Bozeman many times, as well ashave lived here for the 23 years of my life, and seen pride flags in MANY businesses and homes. The governor onlybanned them in GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS AND SCHOOLS. Which I think is perfectly acceptable. If the flagwere to become the official city flag, it quite literally does not change about anything in my life. It will not make mylife easier, it will not make me feel more safe. All it does is pushes an unnecessary agenda and force political andpersonal interests on other people. These people that are pushing for this are the exact same people who whine andcry about people pushing their religion, personal beliefs and political opinions on them about the LGBT(Q+)community, yet turn around and do the EXACT. SAME. THING. And do not see the hypocrisy or issue with it. I amDISGUSTED by this woke behavior of my community and want absolutely nothing to do with it. I am extremelydisappointed this is even going to be a discussion. Please, for the love of God, realize this is a mistake. Plus, if thiswere to happen, then can a Christian flag become an official city flag? As I am also Christian (crazy I know.) andfeel like a minority. Can a Jewish flag become flown as well? For my fellow people who are Jewish? Or a Palestineflag? Or what about the British flag? Mexican? Venezuelan? Let’s be realistic, we would not do that. The only flagsthat should be a city official flag is the US flag, that represents EVERYONE, and the Montana state flag. Please donot fall for this woke agenda.>>>> Sincerely,>> A person in the LGBT(Q+) community who is livid over this.>> City of Bozeman emails are subject to the Right to Know provisions of Montana’s Constitution (Art.
