The choice to backpedal on the adoption of the pride flag is not only ridiculous but particularly
cowardly. The city of Bozeman, rather than showing support and acceptance towards ourqueer population, chose to kowtow to a conservative agenda and for what reason? Do your
views towards the queer population match that of their ideology? Cities such as Butte andMissoula and countless others across the country have adopted the flag as a symbol of
solidarity, signaling that their municipality is standing with and supporting their citizens in theface of ever increasing anti-queer legislation across our nation. What does that say about us as
a City? Where do we stand? Your citizens deserve to know the reasoning behind such actions.Your citizens deserve to hear it from your mouths why you choose not to stand with us.
