Good morning City of Bozeman,
I would like to request a change in speed for Westgate Ave between Durston and Vaughn. Thesubdivision (Norton Ranch) to the south of Vaughn and north of W. Babcock has caused a significantincrease in traffic. The workers speed through The Lakes on Westgate grossly over the limit. Concretetrucks and dump trucks use this street to access the jobsites in the new subdivision. The street is muchtoo narrow for parking and allowing large trucks.
There are many pedestrians and children on Westgate and it's only a matter of time before a tragedyoccurs.
I am requesting the following:1. Please bring the speed limit sign trailer that shows people how fast they are going. It should be parkedon Westgate somewhere.2. Please change the speed limit on Westgate between W. Babcock and Durston to 15 MPH.3. Please add signage on Westgate asking construction traffic to use Laurel Parkway for access. It is amuch wider street.
