There is no good reason to discuss this, because the very idea of the City of Bozeman elevating one group of people over others is contrary to a Democratic form of government and plain common sense. The group of people who support the idea of a flag that represents anything other than all the people seek to bully the City of Bozeman into taking "their" side, whatever it. My opinion on this would not change if it were the Catholic Church, the Society of Wiccans, the Boy Scouts or the Good Thinking Society. If it represents a particular point of view that hasn't been generally accepted in a democratic process, the City must not accept it as though it has been. Your obligation is to each and every citizen equally. Those seeking to make this flag a part of the Bozeman esthetic are openly declaring this to be a rebuke of a law passed by the Montana Legislature. For the City to participate in insubordination to State Law, is an argument for anarchy in general, and invites all citizens to question which Bozeman Municipal Codes need be obeyed. Think like Leaders of the City and be respected, instead of trying to get everyone to like you. All those loud voices are few and not insignificant, but not more significant. Best Regards, Joseph Feeny
