Hello,I am the owner of the Madison office building (formerly community health partners) located at 214 E Mendenhall st in downtown Bozeman. The adjacent property is 232 E Mendenhall St and was purchased by a guy named Jalal who owns a good chunk on this block (owning entity is HAJ JAVAD LLC) . I came to work this morning and he had erected a 12 foot tall (at least) wooden fence sometime in the last day or two. The fence post is resting against the side of ourbuilding, is blocking our signage (the same location CHP used), an office window, and is shaky which is cause for concern on windy days. I am writing to let you know this was done and was hoping someone might be able to help me understand a) if this is permitted / legal, and b) potentially advise on what happens from the city if it is not allowed.
