In addition to my previous email. Why does Commissioner Emma Bode want this done, asap?
This needs the respect and time for the word to get out so that all people can comment if theywant.

I greatly oppose the idea of having the Rainbow flag as our new City flag. Our city flag should not be
related to sexual orientation or gender. I wouldn’t want a flag showing support for heterosexuality
either. There is no place for any this on the city flag. If you have to find a loophole, like Missoula did,
than there’s something wrong.
I am a person who would help anyone in need, regardless of their color, gender or sexual orientation.With that said, it doesn’t mean I have to agree or support someone’s lifestyle that is against my moralbeliefs. It is not for me to pass judgment on anyone either. I believe there are at least half the peoplein Bozeman who feel the same way but are afraid to say it. You may disagree with me and that’s OK.But why fly a flag that would be so divisive to our community.
Our city flag should represent the ENTIRE community of Bozeman.
