HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 3352 Condolence - Anne Fowler Anderson COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3352 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONT ANA. IN MEMORIAM TO ANNE FOWLER ANDERSON AND EXTENDING CONDOLENCES AND SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WHEREAS, Anne Fowler Anderson. former City Commissioner of the City of Bozeman, Montana, died on Thursday, March 9, 2000; and WHEREAS, Anne Fowler Anderson has maintained permanent residence in Bozeman for over thirty years and has been an outstanding citizen of the community; and WHEREAS, Anne Fowler Anderson served the City government of Bozeman with dedication and distinction, being elected to the City Commission for one term beginning in January 1982 and ending in December 1985; and WHEREAS. Anne Fowler Anderson was affiliated with a myriad of civic organizations, as demonstrated by her serving as a member of the founding board of the Worthy Student Scholarship. by her receiving an inspirational teacher award in 1983, and by her participation in Delta Gamma. PEa and Delta Kappa Gamma, a teachers' honorary. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission of the City of Bozeman. Montana, herewith extends its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Anne Fowler Anderson, in this, their hour of bereavement; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Commission is herewith instructed to convey this measure to Anne Fowler Anderson's family and to officially record this resolution in the minutes of the regular meeting of the City Commission on the 20th day of March 2000.
