Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. I am writing to vehemently oppose the “pride” flag representing my city. It is a complete disgrace that this is even being contemplated. The city flag should represent all residents of Bozeman—regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs. It should be a unifying symbol. Adopting a flag that represents a specificand tiny fraction of our population risks further division by prioritizing some viewpoints over others. City symbols should remain neutral, inclusive in the broadest sense, and focused on what connects us as a community. I urge the Council to reject this proposal brought forth only by the temper tantrum of a handful of residents angry about the fact that Montana is a Christian, conservative state and that is howwe voted. Instead, do your job and affirm a commitment to unity through a flag that reflects all residents of Bozeman equally and without political or ideological alignment. Sincerely, Dawn Gollofon 57 Volans Ct
