Please, don’t let this happen, and drop the discussion about it. This just causes dissent and
anger, on both sides of the issue. The fact that this is even suggested and considered onlypromotes division, not unity. Now that this is public, you have literally caused more division
and anger. If this were never mentioned, or considered, as it shouldn’t have been, no onewould have known the councils personal beliefs, and it wouldn’t be causing such anger (again,
on both sides). Please think logically, and with foresight, before even suggesting such non-appropriate actions from government positions.
No matter your beliefs, this is not what a CITY should be promoting. The city shall remain
neutral on issues such as this. Please practice, promote, support, share, follow your beliefs onyour own time, and with your own money, not on ours.
