Bozeman City Commission and Bozeman City Manager:
I am writing to ask you to remove Consent Item F.2 from the June 24, 2025, City Commission
Consent Agenda and to vote to deny allowing this application to be presented again to the
Commission. (Consent Item F.2 is "Reconsideration of the Boutique Hotel, Site Plan, Certificate
of Appropriateness with Deviation Application Decision, Application 24147, (Quasi Judicial) )
The Boutique Hotel Application 24147 has already been denied in a full and fair public hearing
on May 20, 2025. Now, buried in the June 24, 2025, Consent Agenda, we the public learn that
the applicant and his representative (Intrinsik's Rob Pertzborn) are trying to whine their way
into a second public hearing—at significant costs to the public in time and money.
Undoubtedly, Mr. Pertzborn was paid thousands of dollars by the applicant to make his initial
presentation—and Mr. Pertzborn knew he had only 10 minutes to do so. That Mr. Pertzborn
was either unprepared to present within the 10-minute time limit or arrogant enough to try to
ignore it is nobody's fault but his own.
The Commision should not reward Mr. Pertzborn for poor behavior in a public hearing, and
thus I ask the Commission to deny Mr. Pertzborn's request for a second public hearing on
Boutique Hotel Application 24147.
