Hello, My name is Kirk Nichols and my wife, Anna Evenson and I live at 1976 Vaquero Parkway, Bozeman – just across from the regional park and directly across from the proposed development. We are writing to express our deep concerns regarding the density of the development directly adjacent to the regional park. First of all, one of the two entrances of the proposed development would be directly across from our home and all of the traffic from the high-density development would pose a safety concern. There are many children and young drivers in the neighborhood that would be negatively affected by such a significant increase in traffic. Secondly, there are many people from neighboring streets that walk their dogs over to the dog park and the foot traffic/dogs would also be negatively impacted by the dramatic increase in traffic. Third, there is a significant amount of wildlife currently using the regional park, including the proposed development area. Such a significant increase in people, traffic and noise would severely impact the wildlife (including Bald Eagles, Osprey, fox and many, many other species. We ask for consideration to deny this development or, at the very least, reduce the scale to decrease the density to something considerably less that would not have such negative impacts on the safety, security, and general quality of life for all. Thank you in advance for your consideration of our comments/concerns. Kirk Nichols Anna Evenson
