Very well said. I wonder if we could add an amendment about how the rezoning will also
impact the natural habitat for a multitude of plant and animal species, and that such an
impact is in direct conflict with the natural value that makes Montana a great state?

We are writing this email to express our grave concerns regarding RezoningApplication 25035. We live close to Gallatin Valley Regional Park, and we believe theaddition of the ~8 lots that are part of the re-zone would drastically impact the qualityof the park in a profoundly negative way.
Many of our neighbors will make very strong arguments on a number of issues involvedwith this potential re-zone, so we’d like to focus on what we consider to be the numberone issue: safety for our children.
Our neighborhood is home to mostly families with young children, many of whom playat the park every day after school, on weekends, or during summer vacations. The re-zone will increase the traffic around the access areas for the children to enter thepark, greatly elevating the risk of accidents involving kids on bikes, scooters, or foot.We find this unacceptable.
We implore you to consider the safety of our children and deny the rezoningapplication!
