HISTORIC AND NEW PROJECT NOTES
The Montana Historical and Architectural Inventory is attached. It is noted in this document that
“this structure is an intrusive element within a potential historic district.”
A photo from c. 1950 / 1960 is attached. Also, photos of the current conditions are also included.
The entire existing structure, including the basement, shall be demolished. The reason for this
action is all detailed in the Demolition section with photos. All asbestos has been removed and
legally disposed of. This includes the exterior transite siding that contained asbestos, therefore
the building walls only have a covering of torn tar paper at this time. Photos are included.
Site Plans showing the existing conditions, demolition and new design are included in Drawings
001,002,003 and 004.
Detailed floor plans showing all rooms and their layout are included in the Drawings
005,006,007.
Detailed elevations are in the Drawings 009,010,011,012.
A mock-up of the proposed colors is included in this section. Also, brochure information is
including for the siding, trim, roofing, windows, and exterior lighting.
The new residence fits within the context of the existing neighborhood. Photos of adjacent
homes are attached. These are of simple form and detail, single family homes and duplexes, one
per lot.
No deviations are requested.
