At the direction of the City Commission, anonymous public comments are not distributed to the Board or staff. Public comments will also be accepted in-person and through Video Conference during the appropriate agenda items. As always, the meeting will be streamed through the Commission's video page and available in the City on cable channel 190. Be also adaptable and flexible with an outward focus on the customer and an external understanding of the issues as others may see them. BACKGROUND:Ellie will present the monthly report of general program updates and updates to topics relating to downtown. Board will discuss relevant matters. Check out more info, photos and Annual Award Recipients HERE. • The Black Ave. Stormwater and Sewer project began June 9. The bulk of work will be in South Black north of Babcock with competition in the downtown area within 4 weeks. See additional details HERE. • All FY26 DBP Budgets have been approved, and new fiscal year will begin July 1, 2025 – see attachments • Downtown Flower Baskets – scheduled to be installed June THIS WEEK! City of Bozeman Updates • City Commission Meeting- Tuesday, June 17 at 6pm in City Hall, calendar link HERE. o DURD Consent Agenda Item: 2nd Amendment to Alley Project, removal of sculptures • Downtown BID Board Meeting- Wednesday, June 18 at 12pm in City Hall • Engage Bozeman: UDC Updates DURD Project Updates • Current DURD/CoB Project Updates: o Pedlet Pilot Project – Permits in final stages of approval. Sole Source approval for order from accounting with Modstreet. Pedlet to arrive by early July and plan to install right away upon arrival. o I-Ho Peace Park – We are full-steam ahead on bidding documents and beginning conduction as early as Summer 2025! More info about the community fundraising plans and partner recognition through artistic elements. o 5th & Main Lighting Project – Phase 1 is nearly complete with 5 luminaire bases installed at the Arco site and the lightpoles slated to be installed upon receipt in late June. Phase 2, signal lighting at 5th and Main intersection is slated for summer 2025 and phase 3 & 4 slated for FY 26-27. o The Alley Beautification Project – Final signage, lighting and hardware to be installed soon. Project is slated to be complete by June 30, 2025. o Downtown Streetscape Standard – Final comments have been submitted by city and now final review is with MDT. • Downtown Parking Group Update: Vision document and action plan with focus on short- and long-term solutions is currently moving forward with late summer release to working group, boards and commission. 5 Million in DURD funding for parking infrastructure has been approved for FY26 and plans to develop a public private partnership project are currently being discussed with legal and regional urban renewal advisors.
