Herring - UDC update_ the urban forestFrom:herrboz@aol.com To:Terry Cunningham Cc:Bozeman Public Comment Subject:[EXTERNAL]UDC update: the urban forest Date:Monday, June 2, 2025 7:09:28 AM CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. I would like to request that we keep tree protections in the UDC update. Including thoughts about the Urban Forest in the Forestry Division's Master Plan Update is great, but I want to make sure that there are enforceable codes in there somewhere, to put some teeth into our protection of the Urban Forest. Developers can brush aside guidelines and plans, cutting down mature trees at will, but codes arecodes.
