Hello Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Commissioners, and Community Development Department,
We want to start by thanking staff and elected officials for taking the UDC update slowly byagreeing to multiple work sessions so the process is transparent.
Please act on Commissioner Madgic's suggestion at the June 3rd commission meeting to enact
a pause, a temporary moratorium, on large developments (over 35,000 sq ft) within the NCOD.
We need this pause while we craft tools to manage mass and scale together as a community in
the UDC update and rework the zoning map to make sure development entitlements matchcommunity desires.
Please enact this temporary moratorium as soon as possible!
