I appreciate you andthe city staff acknowledging the concerns raised by our neighborhood and activelyworking toward solutions. It’s reassuring to hear that Assistant City Manager Jon Henderson and the teams inparking and public works are engaged, and I look forward to learning more duringthe discussions later this summer. I’m also glad to hear that progress is being madeon the Oak and Flanders Mill project—starting construction on June 16th isencouraging news. Thanks again for your continued efforts. We have also received similar concerns from other residents of your subdivision. Our Assistant City Manager Jon Henderson is working with our parking and public works staff on solutions to the issues you, and others, have raised and will be discussing them with the neighborhood later this summer. We also are working on solutions to the cut-through traffic you and your neighbors are experiencing. Just this afternoon I received notification from our Transportation Director Nick Ross that the preconstruction conference for the Oak and Flanders Mill project was held yesterday and the contractor intends to start construction on June 16th. I appreciate your patience as we work this out. Thanks again and I hope you have a great weekend. Chuck
