Learn why this is important Hello, My name is Steve Wiechmann and I live at 6169 Blackwood Rd. in the Meadow Creek subdivision. My comments are in regards to the proposed Rocky Mountain Flats development as 5532 Fowler Lane. I accept that Bozeman is growing and that my view, the low traffic and other things I enjoy in my neighborhood will slowly erode away. Working at Bridger Bowl Ski area, I know first hand that affordable housing is needed in Bozeman to hire and retain staff who would otherwise be priced out. However, this particular location for a high density, low income development does not seem fitting for several reasons. First would be the location, and the distance is far for these owners/renters must travel for basic and essential services without a bus service for those without cars. Also, is there enough water pressure to handle another development in this part of town? Our water pressure in Meadow Creek is already terribly low. Second, the plan itself, by an unproven company with a development this size, does not blend in, provide green space, bike routes, and improvements to roads and sidewalks. Also, providing egress through the quiet Meadow Creek neighborhood and our only park, when Fowler will be the faster and safer way to access the location is unacceptable. Thank you for considering my thoughts, and concerns with this project. Regards, Steve Wiechmann
