Learn why this is important As a resident of Bozeman and neighbor to the proposed development, I am writing to expressmy sincere and strong disagreement with the plans for the Fowler Annex. This area is notsuitable for high-density housing at this level, as there is no infrastructure (jobs, grocerystores, suitable roads, to name a few) to support this many new residents. I understand theneed for more housing as Bozeman expands, but sprawling in this way is not only detrimentalthe surrounding area, but detrimental to the people who would be inhabiting this new housing.Living in this development would require them to have cars, as the nearest grocery store is atleast 3.5 miles away, and biking or walking on the existing roads is extremely dangerous. Thisis not sustainable affordable housing. This is shoving low-income residents anywhere wemight find space, and this is unfair to those potential residents, to dangle this "affordable"space when in reality, the cost of living there is going to be far higher than advertised, whenyou also consider the distance to reliable jobs, healthcare, etc. Please reconsider this development. -Beth Schoessow
