You don't often get email from benjaminmonarch@yahoo.com. Learn why this is important
To Whom It May Concern-
I am a home owner in the Meadow Creek subdivision for several years and can say that thiscommunity has been surrounded by untouched farm land since its creation. We have investedin expensive high quality homes due to this fact. Since buying an overvalued home here andpaying thousands of dollars in special assessments levied by the city of Bozeman, there havebeen many high density projects in the area. All of these place thousands of people in a smallarea with terrible building designs.
I am against this proposal and development.
Placing a low income housing project in the middle of a farm field, next to million dollar
homes in a quiet established neighborhood is a travesty. You will be wrecking the peace in anexisting subdivision with increased crime.
I am against this proposal and development.
First off, this is located far from resources that impoverished people need. This property needs
to be near grocery stores and public transit. None of this is close by. The fact that the citywould allow this to happen is beyond my comprehension. It seems that ill conceived
development is wrecking this community. There is no doubt that affordable housing is needed, just not in locations adjacent to affluent communities. Allowing Buffalo Run to be built in that
area is another example of poor choices. Allowing that development has caused that neighborto sell a nice property because of it. The initial developer wanted to build a nice high end
housing with 2 acre lots. The city said no to that. There has to be a balance. Not everythingneeds to be high density in existing HOAs.
Once again, I am against this proposal and development.
The city of Bozeman is allowing unfettered development that has wrecked this community.
What a terrible time for this town and area. Complete travesty.
