You don't often get email from bwgunnink@gmail.com. Learn why this is important
Bozeman City Commissioners:
I am writing to comment on the ridiculous proposed development at 5532 Fowler Annexcalled Rocky Mountain Flats. While I appreciate Bozeman's need for affordable housing, Ialso know that such housing must be built near employers, public transit and other essentialservices. The 5532 Fowler Annex location has none of this and it is hard to imagine a worselocation for this development. Further this development is incongruent with otherdevelopment near this location whether it be county or city development. Should the citycommission approve this development, this along with other city commission actionconcerning development in Bozeman will have made it abundantly clear that the citycommission has no interest in representing the citizens of Bozeman but rather exists to servethe wants of any developer. Finally, I know from past experience that all concerns aboutdevelopment expressed by neighbor are dismissed as self-centered and elitist. So be it. Trustthat this possible action and other past actions will influence how I and many others will votein the future.
Current residents of Bozeman should matter, but many feel like we do not.
