Hi Andy,
Thanks for your email expressing concerns about high school student parking on your
street. We are putting together a team to identify possible solutions for your
neighborhood to consider. Also, on May 6, we awarded a construction contract to
improve the Oak and Flanders Mill intersection which should decrease the amount of
cut through traffic impacting the neighborhood.
Others have expressed similar concerns and please know we are working on it andwill be in touch later this summer.
Thanks, and please feel free to reach out to me or Assistant City Manager Jon
Henderson with any further questions.
Chuck

Hi all - I'm writing do to my concern with the parking situation in on my street (Auger Lane) in Flanders
Mill. We've had numerous instances where unsafe situations have been caused by high school overflowparking. Here you can see just one of those situations where high schoolers are stuck in front of mydriveway and blocked my exit. We needed to go to a doctor's appointment for my pregnant wife and couldnot exit. At times, there are so many cars on our street that we cannot safely pull out of our own driveway. Also, we have kids and the high schoolers drive very quickly through our streets and make for very
unsafe conditions.
Please help us by making our street more safe by preventing high school parking and speeding. I'vecalled in multiple times to try and share my story with Nick and whoever else would listen. Thank you foryour understanding and concern with this situation.
