PROTECT TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE ALL LANDSCAPE AND SITEWORK THAT IS TO REMAIN DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION. C. ALL EXTERIOR WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE TO BE REPLACED - PROTECT ROUGH OPENING FOR RE- INSTALLATION. D. DO NOT ALTER THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE OR IT'S ASSEMBLIES UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED OTHERWISE. PROTECT COLUMNS AND OTHER STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION. E. VERIFY WITH OWNER ALL ITEMS THAT ARE SHOWN ON THE DEMO PLAN TO BE REMOVED PRIOR TO REMOVING OR DEMOLITION. F. PROMPTLY REMOVE ALL MATERIAL AND DEBRIS REMOVED DURING DEMOLITION FROM THE PROPERTY, AND DISPOSE OF THEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL ORDINANCES. G. SECURE THE PROPERTY TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE DURING DEMOLITION. H. UPON COMPLETION OF DEMOLITION, PATCH AND REPAIR ALL EXISTING SURFACES, OPENINGS, AND ROOF PENETRATIONS. I. EXISTING MATERIALS SHALL BE PROTECTED FROM DAMAGE AT ALL TIMES. EXISTING BUILDING MATERIALS AND/OR FINISHES THAT ARE DAMAGED SHALL BE REPAIRED AND/OR REPLACED AND APPROVED BY THE OWNER/ARCHITECT AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. J. IF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SUCH AS ASBESTOS ARE ENCOUNTERED, CEASE WORK AND IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE OWNER AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGER WHO WILL ARRANGE APPROPRIATE MITIGATION. DO NOT COMMENCE WORK UNTIL MITIGATION IS CERTIFIED. K. DEMO AND REPLACE ANY WATER DAMAGED, ROTTEN, MOLDY OR STRUCTURALY COMPRISED FRAMING, SHEATHING, OR BLOCKING. NOTIFY OWNER & ARCHITECT IF ANY DAMAGED AREAS ARE FOUND. L. REMOVE AND DISCARD ALL EXISTING INTERIOR FINISHES TO EXPOSE WOOD STUD FRAMING/ SHEATHING/ JOISTS. M.
