To whom it may concern,
I am writing in hopes you think twice about zoning proposal's in the South 3rd/Wilson St/Historic district.
This area is the heart and soul of our town. From Halloween where young kids can safely go from house to house
celebrating in a way few communities still have. The people who truly value their property, take much pride in
taking care of it, this would be a travesty.
As our community changes and grows it seems to me essential to preserve what is clearly a treasure of "old
Bozeman" As I unhappily witness the destruction of our agricultural land with hundred's of apartments that sit
empty. I am reminded of how important it is to hear from the people who live here and have watched the character
of our community change forever. Unfortunately, Greed is a major reason as people who don't live in Bozeman
continue to "invest". It is those people who are not truly invested or involved in our community. They are just trying
to be as wealthy as possible. This is just plain wrong. We the people who have lived and supported this community
should have a voice as it becomes clear that change is more about the destruction of our community as opposed to
honoring our past and to preserve that which has made this town so unique!
Please think about protecting this beautiful unique place, lets not go down the same pathway of over development
and continue to love the unique character we have preserved in these neighborhoods.
Once it is gone it can not be recreated which is just plain sad.
Sincerely,
Jan Bradley
