Sounds great, thanks Taylor! I’m interested to learn what you come up with regarding the
pathways and happy to collaborate in the conversation as well.

Hi Bobby. Thanks for this. Yes, I was referring to the west parking lot that is part of the Ph 1 upgrades. I also agree that
continued maintenance efforts is an appropriate approach on the shared use paths as well. As I think I mentioned
before, we are working on a pathway pavement preservation project. Kellen and I from engineering are going to meet
with Matt Workman and the streets team to generate some ideas for longer term solutions for the larger cracks and
patching. We will let you know if we come up with something good. 2Thanks Taylor! We will work with Bozeman Health to discuss addressing existing ADA issues
within the parking lot/paths at ramps. For your benefit, the area shown in green in the attached
Overall Site Plan.pdf is the proposed limits for the Ph1 work per the Master Site Plan submittal. Just
to confirm, we are only talking about the Ph1 parking lot to the west of campus as a shown in the
attached aerial image pdf? I think there are some ADA ramp needs outside of the parking lot
within the ROW on Highland and Old Highland that need to be addressed within the Ph1 area and
I’ve pointed a few of those out on the attached aerial pdf. Regarding the multi-use asphalt trail and
ADA requirements (max 0.5” crack opening and 0.25” vertical difference), I think the maintenance
Bozeman Health has done this summer to the trail meets ADA requirements but is a temporary fix.
Bozeman Health would like to address the trail via maintenance for now, but it will need a more
permanent solution in the future.

Hi Bobby and Chris. After the pre-app meeting today, I was looking at the aerial and noticed that some of the ramps for
the parking lot sidewalk do not appear to meet current ADA/COB standard. While I don’t think that the city will require
those to be upgraded as part of this Ph1, I want to raise it as a consideration. Now might be a good time to look at
making those upgrades. Perhaps you can discuss it with Bozeman Health and their facilities/risk management team.
