Hi there. My name is Taylor Pajunen and I am a full time graduate student at Montana State
University. I am emailing you to urge you to make room in your budget for Tenant's Right toCounsel (TRC) in Bozeman. This is a civil legal aid program for people experiencing
eviction.
55% of Bozeman residents are renters. I am one of those people. With today's economy, manyof us could find ourselves having our lives changed overnight. Renters in Bozeman can afford
legal counsel when facing eviction 3-4% of the time, while landlords have counsel around 80-90% of the time.
Cities that have passed RTC programs see an average return investment of $3.3 for every $1
invested. Yes! Bozeman will save money by investing in an RTC program. See more aboutthis through the Montana Legal Services Association.
Please make RTC a priority.
