CTAP Planner Gus Byrom will be retiring after 38.5 years with the Montana
Department of Commerce on June 2, 2025.
Please join us in extending our best wishes to Gus as he embarks upon this new
chapter of his life. If you have a memory or story of working with Gus in your

SHARE GUS MEMORIES
Throughout his time at Commerce, Gus has been an essential part of our team. Gus
has a genuinely optimistic approach to helping all communities, big and small, to
understand their planning, funding and development needs. Over his remarkable
career in state government, Gus has impacted numerous Montana communities with
his can-do attitude and practical approach to collaborative work.

We plan to celebrate Gus on June 3, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at Jorgenson’s restaurant
(recently renamed The Crooked Frog), located at 1714 11th Avenue in Helena. If you
wish to attend, please RSVP to Stephanie Crider-Pridemore by May 16, 2025.
