Dear City Commissioners, My name is Zoe Hallowell and I am the proud owner, along with my husband, of a house situated at 5 East Aspen St. My husband and I have both lived in Bozeman for over 20 years, residing in the north side as renters for many of those years. Our house, located within the Centennial Park neighborhood, dates back to the early 1900s. We value living in aneighborhood that is full of charm, mature trees, mixed housing and historic homes. From our house, we can see duplexes, newer builds, ADUs, and single family homes. As the citycontinues to work towards updating the UDC, I wish to add my support to rezone the Centennial Park neighborhood from the proposed R-C to R-A. Within the R-A designation, Ibelieve that the centennial park neighborhood can still be a place for infill and affordable housing while maintaining the neighborhood's current characteristics. Taking into theconsideration the need for the city to follow the "Encouragement of Development of Housing" coding put forth by the state of Montana in zoning regulations 76-25-301, I believe R-A zoningfor our neighborhood would support points (a), (c), (d) and (e), among others. Our neighborhood, with duplexes, smaller apartment buildings, single family homes and ADUsdoesn't fit the description for becoming R-C. Please take a moment to walk around my neighborhood and listen to my neighbors and the voices of people in adjacent neighborhoods. Please consider supporting the transition of the Centennial Park neighborhood from R-C to R- A. Thank you for your time, Zoe Hallowell5 East Aspen St
