The attached existing conditions plan, Civil C1.0, shows the location of 3 existing trees along West Lamme Street. Due to the proposed construction activity and requirements for upgrading the streetscape in that area, the preservation of those trees is not viable. Construction of the project will require demolition of West Lamme Street. Zoning requirements designate the street frontage as mixed block frontage, so storefront block frontage will be used. The West Lamme streetscape will feature a 6' strip of permeable pavers from back of curb, a 6' minimum width of concrete sidewalk, and landscape area to the building face. Within the 6'permeable strip, street trees will be placed within 5'x10'raised concrete planters for every 50 linear feet of frontage. Appropriate street tree species are proposed within these planters, with 4 total trees proposed along the West Lamme frontage. Thank you for your consideration of this request. Sincerely, Troy Scherer Design 5 Landscape Architecture 406-587-4873 Page 1 iii North Tracy Avenue, Bozeman, MT 59715 4o6.587.4873 www.design5la.com OJECT I - --- ,, EXTENTS-- 1 5 Et /A GC C C UaC U UGC — — UGC a u uG — s UGG EC9STINGSID 1 s° — — a\ s° STAHLY s ■ 9 EXISTING ON—STREET PARKIN SPACES 3 s 1970 `. ■ ■ WV -----_ 9fOCIRV%. ■W w W S , _ W III W W W W W W W W W W — _w W WESTS3E D T _ W W W W w ■ E W W STAHLY S SD SD -Sg. S SD D—' SD SD SD SD SDSO SD'SD SD SD SD S ■ RECORD ROW WIDTH ENGINEERING — II ■ s [AS GAS GAS GAS GAS GAS '' GAS GAS GAS GAS—GAS—GAS— GAS GAS GAS GAS GAS GAS GAS '/// SO ■ SS Ss & ASSOCIATES UGEUG ti UGE UG —'// //// ' GAS—GAS—CAS—GAS—GAS— AS GAS GAS °GE UGE UGE E G 45' WIDE STREET GAS GAS GC UGC ' / GA GA ucc cc ucc ucc ucc ucc ucc sc lG ON-STREET -- cnsGAs PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS& --- ucc ucc ucc ucc-- —ucc—UGC—UGC—UGC—UGC— u UGc ucc uc u SURVEYORS cc www.seaeng.com 3 l a I T1 —Sl 3AIA K s4. z' — 1t..1- ' N89°01'25'W L81 ' s ° s -- ---3 2223 MONTANA AVE.
