HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 3377 Naming pavilion at Bozeman Ponds COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3377 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, NAMING THE PAVILION AT THE BOZEMAN PONDS. WHEREAS, the Breakfast Optimist Club in Bozeman envisioned enhancement of the Bozeman Ponds, located on the west side of the community; and WHEREAS, the Breakfast Optimist Club sought government support for such an enhancement project; and WHEREAS, upon receiving that support, the Breakfast Optimist Club undertook a variety of fundraising events and grant applications; and WHEREAS, the improvements, including reshaping of the ponds and enhancements to the area, have now been completed; and WHEREAS, the successful completion of this project would not have been possible without the dedication and efforts of two individuals in the Breakfast Optimist Club. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, that the pavilion at the Bozeman Ponds, located north of Huffine Lane and east of Fowler Avenue, be named the "Bradford-LeProwse Pavilion" in recognition of the tireless efforts of Earl Bradford and Tom LeProwse to make this a reality.
