Hello City Clerk, Would you please file the following public comment in support of application 24584 in the appropriate repository for that project as well as getting it to the commission and CDdepartment. Thanks. _____________________________ Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Commissioners, and Community Development Department, I'm writing today in support of the very tasteful redevelopment project at 1920 W Babcock. https://gisweb.bozeman.net/Html5Viewer/?FILE_NUMBER=24-584&utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery&viewer=planning The new 5 plex will be a good neighbor to the existing housing in the area and is an encouraging example of the Missing Middle we find so hard to bring out of the ground thesedays. It is proof that new density can be added at 2 stories, which is what many residents have pushed for in the UDC update. This project didn't require parcel assembly, or public resources to make it pencil. The localowners and local builders took into account the needs of neighbors (I watched them present their zone map amendment to the CDB last year). This is the type of incremental development we should be targeting with our housingcampaigns. Incremental doesn't have to mean slow. If we could help more of these projects happen we could meaningfully add to our housing stock while respecting our history andexisting residents. They are to be congratulated. Thank you, Alison B.
