CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE ALL DEMOLITION REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE NEW MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL DEMOLISH ALL EXISTING WORK AS REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE NEW WORK SHOWN IN THESE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL ASPECTS OF DEMOLITION. 3. ALL DEBRIS, RUBBISH, AND OTHER MATERIALS RESULTING FROM THE DEMOLITION SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE. DISPOSAL OF ALL MATERIALS SHALL CONFORM TO LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. 4. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE CARE TO PROTECT THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE EXISTING BUILDING DURING DEMOLITION AND RENOVATION. 5. REMOVE ALL MISCELLANEOUS FASTENERS/NAILERS OR MATERIAL WITH NO PURPOSE. CAREFULLY REMOVE SUCH ITEMS IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE DAMAGE TO EXISTING MATERIALS. PATCH HOLES AS REQUIRED FOLLOWING REMOVAL TO ASSURE A UNIFORM APPEARANCE. 6. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONDUCT ALL NECESSARY EXPLORATORY ACTIVITIES TO LOCATE AND PROTECT EXISTING SYSTEMS AND/OR STRUCTURES TO REMAIN PRIOR TO THE START OF DEMOLITION WORK. 7. ALL EXISTING FINISH MATERIALS REMOVED SHALL BE EVALUATED FOR POSSIBLE USE AS PATCH / REPAIR / INFILL MATERIAL FOR INTEGRATION IN NEW WORK. 8. FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS AND SHALL NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT OF ANY DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN EXISTING CONDITIONS AND THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK.
