IBC 1108.6.2.2.2 Type B Units
When there are four or more dwelling units or sleeping units intended to be occupied as a residence in a single structure, every dwelling unit and sleeping unit intended to be occupied as a
residence shall be a Type B unit.
Type B unit reduction - IBC 1108.7.1.1 One story with Type B units required
At least one story containing dwelling units or sleeping units intended to be occupied as a residence shall be provided with an accessible entrance from the exterior of the structure and all
units intended to be occupied as a residence on that story shall be Type B units.

1104.11.3.1.2 Water Closets: The water closet shall comply with Section 1104.11.3.1.2.
1104.11.3.1.3.2 Forward approach bathtubs: A clearance of 60" minimum in length and 48" minimum in width shall be provided in front of bathtubs with a forward approach. A water closet and a
lavatory shall be permitted in the clearance at one end of the bathtub.
