Hi Liam,
The following is the response from Taylor regarding traffic for this project. Based on the
information provided on trip generation and that the total expected weekday trips are 34,
the City of Bozeman will grant a waiver of the requirements of BMC 38.220.060.A.11.g
and .h. No Transportation Impact Study (TIS) is required for this project. Please include
this email with the submittal documents.
Thanks,

Hi Taylor,
Below is a TIS waiver request for 24584 1920 W Babcock site plan. Would you like any
additional information or analysis for this area, or can we grant a TIS waiver? They're
proposing a 5-plex.
Going forward do you have any guidance on how you would like the review
engineers/applicants to request a TIS waiver? I know you get a lot of emails and I want to
make the process more efficient.
Thanks,

Simon,
I am writing this in response to comment #9 of the site plan review comments on the above project.
Based on the ITE Trip generation rates for low-rise multifamily housing we would expect 0.56 peak
hour trips per dwelling unit. There are 5 proposed dwelling units which results in a total peak hour
trip generation rate of 2.8 trips. Please let us know if you would like a formal report outlining this
information as well as if a traffic impact study is required for this project.
Thank You
