The special usepermit for this mod includes multiple plans to expand and stress an already heavily used and congested area. The only ingress/egress for this property is along Classical Way. This hasbeen a long standing area of congestion, especially in the school start/end times, as well as any time Bronken field holds events. The boulevard along Cottonwood at the corner ofClassical Way also creates an “pinch point” that causes habitual illegal U turns to be made at Waters/Cottonwood, as well as at Cottonwood/entrance to Classical way. This plan is rifewith making an already hazardous condition much worse. To combat this hazard, Petra (a private business) should provide for another access point for traffic ingress/egress (perhapsat he NW corner of Bronken fields off Durstin down to the far West end of Classical Way. Without another path for traffic , the growth this permit would allow will make an alreadyhazardous situation much worse. Inevitably, this will probably lead to a stop light being installed at the Cottonwood/Classical way entrance (at the expense of tax payers) which is apoor fix. Please deny this permit, make Petra address the traffic problem BEFORE the addition to their school, at their expense. Afterwards, they can proceed with their expansion. This shows an attitude of foresight, and keeps the safety of the kids that use this area maintained. Please show some restraint to the never ending growth without planningproblem this town has. This is not to mention the extreme trouble first responders already have with quick access to this area. A secondary road onto this area would help prevent allthe aforementioned problems. Taxpayers should not have to pay for this either! Thanks for the opportunity to weigh in. I and many of my neighbors and friends will be keeping closetabs on this project.
