I have lived on Fowler Lane for 47 years. I am writing to ask that dust control be required on Fowler Lane
between Blackwood Road and Patterson Road while this project is being developed and constructed. I
live on the only one mile section on Fowler Lane that is not paved. My family and I live about 1/2 mile
from this project site. Last year, the dust was nearly unbearable all spring, summer. and fall when
construction vehicles from the Homestead on Buffalo Run just north of this project. The gravel trucks,
dump truck, concrete trucks, materials trucks, etc. endlessly drove past our property to reach the project
site. In the evenings, the dust hung like a fog bank over our homes and crops. We finally had to spend
over $2000 to have one application of dust control applied in order to relieve some of the unhealthy air
quality. That did not last all summer due to the heavy use by these vehicles.
Please consider a dust control requirement from the project planners for our one mile of graveled Fowler
Lane.
