To the City of Bozeman Department of Community Development,
My name is Todd Peterson and I own the parking lot parcel that is south of East Mendenhall
Street, between North Rouse Avenue and Bozeman Creek.
This is legally described as: BOZEMAN ORIGINAL PLAT, S07, T02 S, R06 E, BLOCK D, S80'
LOTS 20 & 21 LOTS 22 & 23 LESS ST 10'X70' IN NE CORNER OF LOT 22 PLAT C-1 PLUS
VACANT STREETS LESS HWRW.
Matt Paine of Paine Group Inc. and I have agreed on a long-term lease for the above property in
order to facilitate meeting the parking requirements for his company’s hotel project which I
understand is currently being reviewed by your department (24-147 Boutique Hotel CCOA Site
Plan). This lease is valid for twenty-five years. Additionally, options to extend the lease exist.
I understand that as part of that agreement, I will be executing a “Off-Site Parking Space
License Agreement” which will be recorded against my lot. I have reviewed this agreement with
legal counsel and we will execute the agreement as required by the City of Bozeman.
