Subject: Pedestrian Safety Concern – 5th & Main Construction Site Dear City O icials, I am writing to express my concern regarding the
construction site at 5th and Main, currently under development by Arco Murray. The site is posing a significant safety risk for pedestrians
commuting along the north side of Main Street. Too o en, I have witnessed pedestrians stepping into the street to navigate around the
construction zone due to the lack of a designated walkway. Other projects along Main Street have ensured protected pedestrian
pathways, and this site should be held to the same standard. In the interest of public safety and walkability, I urge the city to hold
developers accountable for maintaining a safe and accessible right of way as they pursue their commercial interests. Ensuring a
protected pedestrian path is not just a courtesy—it is a necessary measure to prevent accidents and maintain the integrity of our
downtown corridor. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I appreciate your commitment to public safety and look
