Dear Community Development,
Please design the proposed modification, and uphold the original master site plan. Upholding
the original plan would create three important accomplishments for the city and communitydevelopment:
1) Leaving in place the approved and desirable transition on Lamme Street includes a 10 foot
building setback and boulevard landscaping supports the rental and property owners who liveon this street.
2) Upholding the original plan, with setbacks, landscaping, and large trees is a vote for
community. This is a chance to demonstrate you have heard the community concerns aroundneighborhood degradation. It is a chance to demonstrate that we can have density which is not
ugly
3) Holding this developer to the approved plan will help repair damage which has occurredbetween this developer and the community.
I am a Northside Resident. I cannot advocate strongly enough against this modification. Helpus, and help your reputation. Please help us retain some sense of neighborhoods, with green
and common size sidewalks. Were this development on Mendenhall, I would support themodification? But it's on Lamme. it's in the neighborhood. You approved a plan supporting
good transitions. Hold your ground - for all of us! Help us, and improve communitydevelopmentâs reputation.
