Mayor Cunningham and Bozeman City Commissioners,
I am urging you to put off making a decision on the Affordable Housing Ordinance for the
following reasons:
* Higher density in already congested neighborhoods
+Giving contractors benefits to the detriment of the existing neighbors
* We already have a parking problem and congested streets which lead to a delay inemergency rescue and interrupted services
* The City is giving up trees, greenspace and neighborhood tranquility for a contractor to
make a profit
* Please consider the hundreds of high rise apartments currently unfinished and or unoccupied
* Consider the flattening of the real estate market
* Consider the Canyon Gate fiasco, a once beautiful neighborhood and land area with over300 old growth trees now a deserted swamp land
City Commissioners as you strive for local control from the state don't turn a blind eye to the
local Bozeman City Residents ( your constituents) as they demand local control of their ownneighborhoods.
