Re: Issue # CS-25-163: We've received your feedback!
Hi i"he.
1 wanted to follow up and see if my comment reached Mayor Cunningham, and if so,if he's willing to submit his testimony as an op-ed.Montana's citizens are frustrated by the legislature's obstruction of HB 160,and of course by its initial preemption of local control in passing the original HB 407.Bozeman's plastics
ordinance vote, and the community dialogue that preceded it,were inspiring to Montana communities across the state. We don't want this session to pass without accountability on this issue. The mayor's voice can contribute to positive public pressure. That pressure can be used to force a floor vote in which legislators
will have to go on the record opposing the will of 18,819 Bozeman voters,a 63%majority,and condoning problematic limits on constitutional rights. If I can be of service in pushing this along,I'm happy to.I could transcribe his testimony from the video recording hosted on the legislature's website, and convert it to an
op-ed format.
I appreciate your help in bringing this to the mayor's attention_I know there are so many burning issues currently, but this is one we can't let pass quietly.
Thank you,
Ben

Hello Ben,
Thank you very much for your message. We will direct this to Mayor Cunningham.I would also like to publish this as a public comment.which would be sent to every Bozeman commissioner, the City Manager and other pertinent staff.it will then be held in a public repository.May I have your permission to do so?
