Dear City Commissioners, As long-time citizens of Bozeman, we are deeply concerned that the updated AHO would allow for even taller buildings and inadequate parking for new developments in existingneighborhoods in exchange for purported "affordable housing." We have been appalled by the new developments that have been approved in existing neighborhoods where tall buildingsovershadow existing homes and obliterate the skyline. Exempting developers from providing adequate parking is egregious, creating parking issues in already existing neighborhoods.None of these exemptions is solving the truly affordable housing crisis in our town. The updated AHO does not resolve any of the issues that are making it impossible for the workingpeople of our town, as well as our low-to middle-income seniors to obtain truly affordable housing. We urge you to vote NO! on the updated AHO. All the advantages of this AHO go todevelopers--none to existing neighborhoods or the year-round residents of Bozeman who struggle to live and work here. Sincerely,Rilla and Carl Esbjornson
