Hello Commission, I would ask that you repeal the current Affordable Housing Ordinance. The market is currently so
over-supplied that the City has time to pause before pushing something new through. Before considering adoption
of the proposed new AHO, please reassess the 2020 Bozeman Community Plan. This document is supposed to be
reviewed every five years according to MCA Section 76-1-601(3)(f). The impacts of the AHO on the Bozeman
community are vast and do not represent the history and the values of the residents. Radically increased height,
density, mass, scale and lack of parking in existing neighborhoods is not what residents desire. Housing for all goals
have never been achieved by anyone, anywhere. There is so much to consider and increased community
engagement, on all sides of this issue, must be addressed. Thank you.
