Please do not approve the update to the AHO. The answer to affordable housing is not to decimate our skyline. An
example if the building that was approved across from the Wilson Auditorium. It sits on an elevated site and its
current height completely blocks the skyline and our beautiful Bridger Mountains. Once these decisions are made
there is no walking back so please carefully consider what you want our city to look like.
Parking is also a huge consideration when developing large residential buildings. It is totally unrealistic to assume
that each residential unit will not have 2 cars. All residential projects approved should allow enough onsite parking
for 2 vehicles. Street parking is not an answer to this problem as observed on any snow day. If the project can not
accommodate 2 vehicles per unit then the size should be adjusted.
Thank you for carefully considering your vote.
