Commissioners Cunningham, Morrison, Madjic, Fischer and Bode-
Please vote NO on the draft AHO. Instead, go back and repeal the current AHO and start over.
It is bad for Bozeman and hardly provides "affordable" anything while allowing developers toaccess public resources for their investment housing. Time to listen to those of us who make
Bozeman their primary and in most cases only home.
In starting over....limit the use of any AHO plan to greenfield development whereinfrastructure can be properly sized to accommodate the impact of density.
Get creative! Make an Affordable Housing Overlay District with incentives to local
homeowners to create invisible infill in core neighborhoods to protect Bozeman's historiccharacter we all love and wish to preserve.
Most importantly, mandate that developers proposing to use the cash-in-lieu of water rights
provision, provide affordable housing only in exchange for using our water. This is a finiteresource. Luxury housing can find and pay for water on their own.
Finally, again no more public resources to be given to investment housing.
Time to do what is right for Bozeman not what is right for the out of state wealth flooding the
city, the state with no consideration for our history and our love of this community.
