Dear Commissioners, I am writing to express some concerns about the AHO.While most residents agree that Bozeman is in need of more affordable housing, I don't believe the proposed update is the best solution. I live in the Black Olive neighborhood and see what it looks like when a developer is allowedto not provide adequate parking - the surrounding neighborhood pays the price as the BO residents seek on street parking. I am concerned with the density and height allowances. I think the surroundingneighborhoods will be overwhelmed and will lose their existing character. One doesn't have to look any further than the area near the old Medical Arts Building to see what that lookslike. I ask that as we "provide" for the people moving to Bozeman that we don't do it at the expense of those that already live here. I feel for the people that live in that neighborhood(some for many years!) and have had to deal with the impacts of all those high rise developments right out their door. I ask you to keep these concerns in mind as you strive to improve the AHO. Thank you,John Preston 409 S Bozeman Ave
